These Terms of Service apply when you use sherrysidoti.com, hold a membership, watch videos, or register for a program, event, or retreat. Policies are grouped by type of offering so you can easily find the terms that apply to you.

3. Embodied Memoir Writing (EMW) Programs
1. General Terms & Conditions
1.1 Acceptance of Terms
By using sherrysidoti.com, registering for a membership, purchasing access to the EMW Video Library, EMW writing series, events, or retreats, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1.2 Eligibility, Membership & Payments
EMW offers several types of access:

EMW Community Membership — All past and current EMW program participants are automatically added to the free Community Membership — no registration or invitation required. To be removed from the EMW community, contact sherry@flyyogamv.com. Two paid upgrades are available:

Supporting ($11/mo or $122/yr)

Sustaining ($22/mo or $244/yr)

Video Library Only — open to the general public. Full library access at $99/year.

EMW Series — open to the general public and community members. Prices range depending on the series between $555–$1,333 per series.

Events — open to the general public and community members. Prices range depending on event and membership.

Retreats — open to the general public and community members. Prices range depending on retreat.
Paid memberships, including Supporting, Sustaining, and Video Library Only, may be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase. Payments are processed securely through Wix Payments and PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until cancelled.
Sherry Sidoti reserves the right to remove access for any member who violates community guidelines.
1.3 Account Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify Sherry Sidoti promptly at sherry@flyyogamv.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
1.4 Community Guidelines

Not share or reproduce other members' writing without explicit consent

Honor the confidential and personal nature of memoir writing shared in community spaces
1.5 Intellectual Property
All content on sherrysidoti.com, including videos, written materials, and program content, is the intellectual property of Sherry Sidoti. Unauthorized use is prohibited. Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of membership without refund and may be subject to legal action under applicable copyright law.
1.6 Changes to Terms
Sherry Sidoti reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes by email. Continued use of the site after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Videos & Digital Content
This section applies to paid memberships (Supporting, Sustaining, and Video Library Only), the EMW Video Library, prerecorded videos, and other digital content. The free EMW Community Membership involves no purchase, so the cancellation and refund terms below do not apply to it. The cancellation and refund deadlines for live programs in Sections 3 and 4 do not apply to memberships or digital content.
2.1 Video Content
All video content is for personal use only. Redistribution, resale, or unauthorized sharing of content is prohibited without prior written permission from Sherry Sidoti. Violation may result in immediate termination of membership without refund and may be subject to legal action under applicable copyright law.
2.2 Cancelling a Membership or Video Library Plan
You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
2.3 Refunds for Memberships & Digital Content
All membership purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact sherry@flyyogamv.com within 7 days of the charge.
3. Embodied Memoir Writing Programs — Cancellation & Refund Policy
Our Embodied Memoir Writing programs are intentionally small, supportive learning communities. Enrollment is limited to ensure meaningful attention, guidance, and connection. When you register, a space is reserved specifically for you, and preparation begins in advance. We understand that circumstances can change, and the following policies are designed to honor both our participants and the commitments involved in offering these programs.
This policy applies to Healing Our Way Home, Weekly Writing Circles, and Write the Darn Thing! For these three programs, it takes precedence over the general series terms in Section 4.
A. Healing Our Way Home & Weekly Writing Circles
Applies to the six-week Healing Our Way Home program and eight-week Weekly Writing Circles.

14 or more calendar days before the program begins: Full tuition refund.

7–13 calendar days before the program begins: 50% tuition refund.

Fewer than 7 calendar days before the program begins: No refund.

After the program begins: No refunds or prorated refunds for missed sessions, early withdrawal, or inability to attend.
B. Write the Darn Thing! — Five-Month Memoir Development Program
Because this program is limited to eight participants, involves individualized preparation, and requires a five-month commitment, the following cancellation policy applies:

30 or more calendar days before the program begins: Full tuition refund.

14–29 calendar days before the program begins: 50% tuition refund.

Fewer than 14 calendar days before the program begins: No refund.

After the program begins: No refunds or prorated refunds for missed sessions, early withdrawal, or inability to complete the program.
C. Transfers & Exceptional Circumstances
We recognize that illness, family emergencies, and unexpected life circumstances can arise. Requests for exceptions to the standard cancellation policy may be submitted in writing to sherry@flyyogamv.com.
At Sherry Sidoti's discretion, and subject to availability, participants may be offered a one-time transfer to a future offering of the same program. Transfers are not guaranteed and do not constitute cash refunds.
D. Payment Plans
Participants who enroll through a payment plan are responsible for the same program tuition as participants who pay in full, subject to the applicable cancellation and refund policy above. If you cancel, that policy is applied to the full program tuition, taking into account the payments you have already made: any amount you have paid beyond the non-refundable portion will be refunded, and you remain responsible for any unpaid balance of the non-refundable portion. Withdrawal does not automatically cancel remaining scheduled payments; where a refund applies, remaining scheduled payments will be adjusted or cancelled accordingly.
E. Program Cancellation by Sherry Sidoti
If Sherry Sidoti cancels a program before it begins, participants will receive a full refund of tuition paid. If a program is discontinued after it begins, participants will receive an appropriate refund for the undelivered portion.
F. Refund Requests
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to sherry@flyyogamv.com. Eligibility is determined by the date the written cancellation request is received and the scheduled program start date. Refunds are subject to applicable law.
G. Policy Effective Date
This Embodied Memoir Writing cancellation and refund policy applies to enrollments made on or after [publication date]. Enrollments made before that date remain subject to the terms in effect at the time of enrollment.
4. Other Live Events, Workshops, Series & Retreats
The following cancellation and refund terms apply to paid events and offerings organized and sold directly through Sherry Sidoti's website, excluding the three Embodied Memoir Writing programs governed by Section 3.
4.1 Single-Session Events, Craft Workshops & Author Talks

Cancellations received 48 hours or more before the scheduled event start time are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations received fewer than 48 hours before the event start time are non-refundable.

No refunds are provided for missed events or nonattendance.
4.2 Other Multi-Session Series
For paid multi-session series not covered by the Embodied Memoir Writing policy in Section 3:

Cancellations received 72 hours or more before the first scheduled session are eligible for a refund, less any non-refundable deposit expressly disclosed at registration.

Cancellations received fewer than 72 hours before the first session are non-refundable.

No prorated refunds are provided for missed sessions or withdrawal after a series begins.
4.3 Retreats
Retreats may involve advance commitments for accommodations, venues, facilitators, and other expenses.

Cancellations received 30 calendar days or more before the retreat begins are eligible for a refund, less any non-refundable deposit expressly disclosed at registration.

Cancellations received fewer than 30 calendar days before the retreat begins are non-refundable.

Retreat-specific cancellation terms, including deposits and payment deadlines, may apply when clearly disclosed before registration and will take precedence over this general policy.
4.4 Free Community Offerings
Free community gatherings and complimentary offerings do not require payment and therefore are not subject to tuition refund policies.
4.5 Third-Party Events
If an offering is booked and paid for directly through an independent venue or organization rather than through Sherry Sidoti's Wix checkout, that provider's cancellation and refund policies apply.
4.6 Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
If Sherry Sidoti cancels a paid event that she directly organizes and sells, participants will receive a full refund of the event fee paid, unless they voluntarily accept a transfer to a rescheduled date.
If an event is rescheduled, participants who cannot attend the new date may request a refund.
All provisions are subject to applicable law.
