Psoas Release! It is a powerful thing.
An overactive psoas can lead to a host of discomforts in the back, pelvis, neck, shoulders, and digestive issues, as well as affect our mood with feelings of lack and dullness.
Accessible restorative tension release exercises help to release the holding patterns and tensions to bring more ease and vibrancy in body and spirit.
Find out why Modern science calls the psoas muscle our “Body Brain” and mystics call it “the Messenger of the Soul.”
Please have with you the following items. You can also refer to the event photo for an example of the an active rest setup. There will be alternative poses offered for those who can not comfortably lay on backs.
You will need:
- a chair or stack of pillows to rest your legs on
- yoga mat or blanket on the floor next to chair/couch/bed
- optional thin pillow and a cozy blanket
- clothes that are loose at the waist/belly
- water to drink
