About the event
What is an Author’s Note, and do you need to write one? In this workshop with Embodied Memoir Writing's founder Sherry Sidoti, we will explore the purpose of writing an Author’s Note to accompany your memoir, including intentionality, the varied components to incorporate, cultivating your authentic tone of voice, and why it matters to your memoir writing process, even if it does not end up in your book. Workshop includes discussion and a generative writing exercise that will take you through steps to inspire an initial draft of your own Author’s Note.
90 minutes. Workshop open to non-members and members. Recorded + added to Full Access Library.
