Bio

Sherry Sidoti-Rego is the founder and lead director of FLY Yoga School, a teacher training program and FLY Outreach, a not-for-profit that offers yoga and meditation for those in recovery from addiction and trauma on Martha’s Vineyard.

 

Sherry leads yoga courses, teacher training, and retreats globally. Her musings have been published by various magazines and periodicals; including The Martha’s Vineyard Times, Heart and Soul Magazine, Elephant Journal, and Anthropology and Humanism Quarterly. In 2021 Sherry won first place for prose with the Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. Her essay Mosaics, is featured in She Writes Anthology, Art in the Time of Unbearable Crisis (releases Summer 2022). Her forthcoming memoir, published by She Writes Press/SparkPress releases in Fall 2023. 

 

As an engaging podcast and radio guest, she has shared her spiritual teachings on What Matters Most, Twisted Times, Live Your Happy Now, WMVY Martha’s Vineyard Radio and Three Crones. She shares with embodied humor, vulnerability, and insight, reflecting our ongoing quest for self-awareness and spiritual awakening. Sherry is most devoted to her greatest teacher, her son Miles, whose love, sensitivity, and wisdom illuminates her path.
